Necklace
This work is indebted to the great skill of master tinsmith James Collins. Inspired by watching the master craftsman at work, these pieces were later created using traditional tinsmithing techniques like those practiced by Collins. A tension emerges within these objects; between the vessel, symbolic of our most fundamental need and jewellery, an unnecessary luxury.
